The Back Trail

Not far from here is a place where smooth streamers of narrow dirt slink between twisted trees and along canyon cliffs. Where sandstone stands in odd shapes and textures that allow wheels to roll or lunge or fly. And if one were to arrive in such a spot on a pleasantly cool day with sunshine burning down between passing puffy clouds, with friends who like the rough riding and enjoy the long, long miles of riding that are there to be ridden... Then one might be inclined to believe that a certain kind of paradise had been found.

Here is what we found.

  2. Great pictures! After spending time in Moab this summer, I could fall in love with that type of terrain. Too flat here - so for now - I road bike and revel in the speed.

    Keep up the great posts.
