Just four days ago, as I write this, it was clear, bright and warm out. Warm, as late December in goes in these parts, anyway, with an ice-on-puddles morning melting into dry trails and blue skies. Landon called and off we went with a couple bikes and a couple dogs, trying to soak up the opportunity presented.
If I must say it myself: opportunity well soaked.
