This pic of Sprocket and me before the ride by MikeC
I got out into the wide world with friends and dogs again yesterday. Trails were mostly dry. The day was a fast-changing mix of grey gloom, scraps of sunlight, and blue sky emerging from clouds woven across the sky.
Our ride was a fast-changing mix of hard-charge riding and urgent catch-the-light photo-geeking. Sprocket's job was to run three miles for every mile we rode. Snow fell in a quick flurry just as we finished. But nothing stuck to the ground, so the trails are waiting for us again.
